Sharon Lam is a New York City based actor from Malaysia with credits that include directing, dance and writing. Awarded Runner Up, Best Actress (since then renamed "Best Supporting Actress") at the Short + Sweet Festival Malaysia (2008) - a global festival with origins in Australia, she has appeared on stage and on film, including the roles of Jo in boom, Ophelia in The Secret Love Life of Ophelia, and Princess Kokachin in Marco Polo and the Old Man of the Mountain with Box of Delights Family Theatre. Sharon will be making her off-Broadway debut in July with Comfort Women: A New Musical. She premiered the lead role of Bobbi in The Can Opener in 2014.Theater.
Kevin L. Tucker has performed with the Martina Arroyo:Prelude to a Performance Program, Americolor Opera Alliance, American Opera Projects, Herndon Home Jazz Series, True Colors Theatre Company, and the Moses Hogan Music Festival. Kevin joins The Can Opener in the role of Father for the expanded version of the show at the Frigid New York Festival.
Andrew Blair as a Zombie!
Andrew Blair is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theater Professional Workshop, and the DeKalb School of the Arts. He played King Louis XI in Bastard's Blood at the Sybillines Theater Co. He played a zombie college student in the premiere of The Can Opener in 2014.
Rose Marie Rupley
Rose Marie Rupley is a graduate of Circle in the Square Professional Musical Theater Workshop and Collin College. She has performed numerous roles at the Collin Theater Center, the Circle in the Square PMW, as well as in film. She premiered the role of Mother in The Can Opener in 2014.
Jesse Corbin as Apollo
Jesse Corbin is excited to be a new resident of NYC after spending the past two years performing in various theatres across the country from Florida to California. Most recently he finished a A Murder, A Mystery & A Marriage with Sierra Rep Theatre. Some of his favorite roles include Joseph (Joseph and the...Dreamcoat), Enjolras (Les Miserables), & Cyrano (Cyrano DeBergerac).

Meghan Pulles Cavanaugh, a graduate of Florida State University, is a skilled actress/singer/classical singer with extensive experience in theatre and opera. She also plays the guitar, and ukulele, and writes her own original songs. Meghan played a zombie college student in the premiere of The Can Opener 2014.
M. Zachary Johnson, Composer-Playwright
M. Zachary Johnson, creator of The Can Opener: A Brief Horror Musical, has written many instrumental works for saxophone, piano, violin, and symphonic band. His first theater work, The Boston Tea Party Opera, premiered at the 2014 NY International Fringe Festival to great acclaim. He teaches at Mannes College the New School for Music, and is the author of the book Dancing with the Muses: A Historical Approach to Basic Concepts of Music.
Kenneth Oefelein, Director
Kenneth Oefelein, Director, trained and then worked as an art director at the Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood. He has written, directed and produced several short films including "Skeleton Canyon." He directed the premiere of The Can Opener at the Players Theater Boo Festival in 2014.
